While watching the TV/radio show “Imus in the Morning” recently, Don Imus, host of the show, had Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey on and asked him who had been the most helpful after the storm. Guess what the governor said? First, he named The Salvation Army and then he named the Southern Baptists. He said that they provided hot food, etc. It just made me thankful to be a Southern Baptist and extra thankful for those men and women that make it their mission to go wherever they are needed to help others in times of disaster.
