I read The Alabama Baptist because it comprehensively reports Southern Baptist news.

I read it because every issue informs me of persecuted Christians.

I read it because of Joanne Sloan’s authentic biographical sketches of Christian heroes and heroines in Heroes of the Faith.

I read it because of Bob Terry’s fair, well-researched and timely editorials.

Furthermore, he has been and is my friend.

I am indeed grateful.
