On June 2, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Millry, celebrated its bicentennial anniversary.

Former pastor Ernest Tucker was the guest speaker. Music was presented by the church choir and specials were sung by music director Janet Pittman, Brenda Oates, Jane Koen and Brenda Price.

Church history was shared by Sammy and Clarence Carpenter, and Sara Green.
