I read with interest from the Sept. 14 issue the article under Baptist News Briefs “CBF sympathizers ‘yearning’ for split.”
I have a great yearning for that split. Why this long in coming? I think both Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Southern Baptist Convention would be blessed. Both would have more unity and less division.
A structure that differentiates is needed. God blesses unity. There is more power in unity than in numbers. The body of Christ needs God’s power of unity today as never before. Do we want His power or do we want to be “divide-able?”
