In Maryland and Delaware, only 14 of the 60 colleges and universities have some kind of Baptist ministry going on. In Alabama, which has the same number of campuses, 44 have Baptist campus ministers at work.
“Keeping the current model would be short-sighted,” House Education Budget Chair Danny Garrett, R-Trussville, said.
During his sermon, Phil Waldrep said the most effective form of evangelism is loving people. He challenged churches to love people well, not show favoritism and call people by name to show them that they’re cared for.
